Hi there, thank you for visiting my blog. My name is Fèyísìtàn. I am a Trauma-Informed Domestic Violence & Narcissistic Abuse Recovery Coach. I founded The Nurtured Woman, a private coaching and consulting practice that provides recovery coaching and mentoring support to men and women who have experienced domestic abuse or narcissistic abuse to transform their lives. I provide family court support on Child Contact Arrangement cases. I offer post-separation and divorce support for women who have escaped domestic violence to heal, thrive and live fulfilling lives. I'm a conference speaker. I create and deliver training courses and workshops on domestic violence, narcissistic abuse and healthy relationships. I support and encourage families to cultivate intentional, healthy, family relationships.  

This blog was created to raise awareness of the various dynamics of Narcissistic Abuse and Domestic Violence in African communities. The initiative was initially titled  ''NurturedNotTortured'' which was chosen primarily from the reflection of my experience being in a marital narcissistic abusive relationship for a long period of time. While the relationship was extremely toxic, it was stressful, draining and distracting but I was never broken. I was being nurtured by the reality of knowing who I am as an individual, knowing who I am in Christ as a Christian and an understanding of scriptural principles for everyday living.

I believe my experience was for a purpose, for such a time as this. To equip and prepare me for this purpose, to help others who are caught up in abusive and toxic relationships.

2 Corinthians 1:4 clearly defines the motivation behind this purpose.

I was comforted, nurtured beyond measure and duly protected even when I didn't realise I needed protection. By nature, I strongly dislike injustice, oppression and people preying on one another especially within the family unit. No wonder I was empowered for this purpose. Believe me when I say....''I Love the fact that I was chosen''.

Quoting the words of Maya Angelou - ''When you learn, Teach. When you get, Give''

Over the years I have learnt and I'm willing to teach. I have gotten a wealth of knowledge and understanding of domestic abuse and narcissistic abuse amongst other things and I am willing to share.

In our journey of life, no experience is a waste. Good or bad, there's always something to learn from it and it will be a grave error to miss those lessons. To the best of my God-given ability, I hope to impart knowledge of domestic abuse and narcissistic abuse, provide help, mentoring and support for survivors and signpost abusers to other agencies where they can get the necessary behavioural change support they need.


Knowledge is power!. I strongly believe that by making better and informed choices, we can enjoy everyday of our lives, become better people equipped with conscious ability to make positive impacts in our world.

I am delighted and honoured to join many men and women across the globe who against all odds, have dedicated time and resources to promote various causes that serve humanity. GOD BLESS YOU ALL
